Welcome to KC Socials! These Terms and Conditions outline the rules for using our website and working with us. By accessing our website or engaging our services, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our website or services.

1. Who We Are
KC Socials ("we", "us", "our") is a trading name of Kelley Austin and Claire Louise Wood, providing social media strategy, content creation, social media management, email marketing, and coaching services to small businesses. We operate as a partnership and are not registered with Companies House. Our website is KCSocials.media, and we can be contacted at support@kcsocials.media.

2. Working With Us

  • New clients apply via our online application form. Submitting an application does not guarantee acceptance, we may decline to work with a business at our discretion.

  • Once accepted, services begin only after both parties agree on scope and pricing, confirmed in writing (email is sufficient).

  • We reserve the right to decline or end a working relationship at any time if we believe the partnership is no longer a good fit, subject to the notice period in Section 4.

 

3. Payment Terms

  • Pricing for each service is agreed in writing before work begins.

  • Invoices are issued on the 23rd of each month, with payment due by the 1st of the following month.

  • Late payment may result in a pause of services until payment is received in full.

 

4. Cancellations & Refunds

  • Ongoing monthly services require one month's written notice to cancel.

  • One-off services and digital products are non-refundable once work has begun or been delivered, except where required by law.

  • We do not guarantee refunds for dissatisfaction with results, given the nature of marketing outcomes (see Section 7).

 

5. Use of Our Website
You agree to use our website and services for lawful purposes only. You must not:

  • Use our content without permission.

  • Try to disrupt or hack our website.

  • Share misleading or harmful content.

We reserve the right to modify or remove access to our website at any time.

 

6. Intellectual Property

  • All website content (text, graphics, resources) belongs to KC Socials unless stated otherwise, and may not be copied, distributed, or reused without permission.

  • Client deliverables: Once a client has paid in full for content or work we create specifically for them, ownership of that specific deliverable transfers to the client. This does not include our underlying processes, templates, or methods, which remain our property.

 

7. Limitation of Liability

  • We aim to provide the best possible service, but we cannot guarantee specific results (e.g. a certain number of followers, engagement rate, or sales), as these depend on many factors outside our control.

  • We are not responsible for losses resulting from third-party platform changes (e.g. algorithm updates, account suspensions) or from how a client uses our content or advice.

  • Nothing in these terms limits liability for death, personal injury, or fraud, where such limitation would be unlawful.

 

8. External Links & Third-Party Tools
Our website may include links to third-party sites (e.g. social platforms, booking tools). We are not responsible for their content, availability, or privacy practices.

 

9. Privacy & Data Protection
Your privacy is important to us. Please see our Privacy Policy for details on how we collect, use, and protect your personal data, in line with UK GDPR.

 

10. Complaints

11. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
